The Class of 65 and Friends reunion committee voted to extend the early registration for $50 until the end of June, giving you one more month at that rate before the price goes up to $60. But we encourage you to register right away.
Note: Late registration $60 per person.

Holiday Inn North Van will be offering
discounted rates,
($130.per room per night), for the reunion if people would like to stay there for the Friday night or Saturday night.

Those from out of town interested in arranging an informal cocktail party, breakfast, lunch or dinner other than the event during the weekend, can send us the suggested times and places and we will post them on the "Message Board" or you can suggest one location via your posted feedback. The site will be updated as posting info is received so those wishing to contact others can do so.

* A 'meet and greet'
Some
of the group will meet in Seymour’s Pub at the Holiday Inn hotel at 7 pm
on the Friday night (September 17th) for a casual opportunity to meet/go
for pub food or just to say hello.
* '60's music
* Book signing by Lynn Johnston ('For Better or Worse') and raffle of her new plush toy dog 'Farley' (proceeds to the high school scholarship and bursary fund).
* Photo opportunities with unique cut out background figures
(bring your cameras!)
* An archival display of items from our North Van High days
* A viewing of the Doug McDonald painting of the school
(won by Gavin McLeod at a previous reunion)
* A chance to take part in the 'Do You Remember?' project board...memories of the school that will be published on the website.
* A full buffet of hot and cold appetizers (included in the price)
Wine/beer/mixed drinks/soft drinks (not included in the price)
* Opportunities to sign up for Sunday events initiated by smaller groups of
classmates at the Saturday night event.
(For example a Sunday morning brunch at the hotel, a Sunday picnic if the weather is good, nostalgic walking visits to spots in North Vancouver that bring back memories.....)
So don't miss out on the chance to be part of our 45th reunion. Even if you
only attended North Van High for a short time....even if you didn't
graduate...even if you are a friend who went to another school but bonded
with North Van High students...Everyone is welcome to be together on the
18th. We all shared that time in our lives.
Our committee anticipates one more reunion (our 50 year reunion) after this.
We want to build momentum at the 45th for a solid database of contact information so that we don't have to spend months finding everyone again. It is important for our sakes and of course for yours to let us know if there are any changes in e-mail addresses/street addresses/phone numbers in the next five years. For the 45th we have experienced frustration because many people are switching to cell phones which are not listed in the phone book or on 411.com. Or classmates are spending winters somewhere warm and disconnecting their home phones in the meantime.
Please help us keep you in touch by giving us alternate ways to get information to you.
Our website will be kept up until the 50th. We suggest you pop in to the site now and then to keep track of updates & eMAIL us any contact changes.
Looking forward to seeing you on September 18th.
